FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

When are meals delivered? Meal delivery happens on a weeknight and is coordinated based on your package start date and current availability.

What area do you deliver to? I deliver throughout Anne Arundel County. We'll confirm that your address is within my delivery area before any payment is made. We plan to serve the Eastern Shore in the future.

What kind of ingredients do you use? Only the good stuff — locally sourced, pasture-raised, wild-caught, organic, and seasonal wherever possible. Your meals come in compostable containers and are carefully prepared to reduce your exposure to microplastics.

Can you accommodate allergies and dietary needs? Yes — I'm happy to prepare meals that are gluten-free, dairy-free, or free of nuts. I'm not able to offer fully vegan or vegetarian versions of this package, as the recipes are built around nutrient-dense animal proteins chosen specifically to support postpartum healing. For any other dietary needs, please reach out to me directly and we'll talk through what's possible.

How does the postpartum package work? It's sold as a four-week package, designed to nourish you through the weeks that matter most. Postpartum healing happens over weeks, not days, and having a full month (or more!) of steady, restorative food means your recovery is cared for during the most depleting stretch — without you having to think about it.

How does payment work? Once we've confirmed availability, worked through your dietary needs, and signed a simple contract, I'll send a secure Stripe link for the full package — $1,600 for the four weeks. Your spot is reserved as soon as that's taken care of.

Can I send this as a gift? Absolutely — it's one of the most meaningful gifts you can give. Because each package is tailored to the parent's dietary needs and coordinated around their delivery area and baby's arrival, gifts can't be sent anonymously or as a complete surprise; I'll need the new parent's consent and a few details to make it work. They will be so excited and relieved to know you’ve taken care of them in advance.

What if my baby comes early or late? Babies keep their own schedule, and I'll shift things as best I can — I'm always happy to accommodate last-minute changes. I recommend scheduling your postpartum meal package 5-7 days after your due date to leave room for the unexpected— because with labor, we can always expect the unexpected! :)

In the rare case that extreme circumstances make it impossible to reschedule, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method minus a $425 processing fee.

What are your credentials? I'm a registered dietitian, so every meal is built around the nutritional needs of a postpartum mother. I am recently postpartum myself with my first baby being born in December 2025. I remember opening the fridge and wishing I had something to grab that took no time to prepare; wishing that I could tell my support system how to prepare the nutrient dense meals I was craving — and that's exactly what I make for you now. This is the care I wished for in those early weeks (or even months after, because healing takes a long time), made for you.

Take care of you
